Kavalan Distillery, located in Yilan County, Taiwan, was founded in 2005 by the King Car Group and quickly gained international recognition for its single malts. The distillery benefits from Taiwan’s hot and humid climate, which accelerates whisky maturation and results in rich, bold flavor development in a relatively short period.
